BOAFO CIRCLE
Empowering villages that thrive through self-reliance, cultural priode, and sustainable progress

The Heart of Boafo Circle
My name is Jennifer Darling...
I am the founder of Boafo Circle, a nonprofit born from my own journey from Ghana to the United States and shaped by hardship, hope, and the power of community.
I was born in Suame, Ghana, and raised in Fankyenebra, where people looked out for one another and shared what little they had. Life was not easy, but it taught me resilience, kindness, and the quiet strength that comes from lifting others up. At fifteen, I moved to the U.S. The transition was overwhelming. I faced a new culture, financial strain, and the loneliness that comes with starting over. Yet the values I was raised with stayed with me. They became my anchor.
Boafo Circle is my way of honoring where I come from and giving back to the communities that shaped me. We support children through education, mentorship, and improved school conditions, from basic supplies to safe, welcoming classrooms. Our goal is simple and deeply human: to make sure every child feels seen, supported, and able to dream. If you believe in the strength of community and the life-changing power of education, I invite you to stand with us.
Together, we can create brighter futures, one child and one classroom at a time.
